A large middle Ming dynasty dish, Cheng Te (Zheng De)period 1506-21. Central decoration of rock and plants,surrounded by sea waves with a band of water plants and eight treasures in the cavetto. The exterior decorated with a wave band near the foot and eight treasures symbols surrounded by floral motif. Rim fritting (mushi-kui)and a two inch crack as shown in images.
