A carved wood, seated figure, with inbedded shell decorated forehead, and green glass beads as eyes, with a large carved name of John Brown on top of the base, giving this figure a strong personality. 19" (48cm) high.
This bronze water container is inlaid with a design of Chidori's and waves in silver. It it is deeply inscribed inside the lid commemorating the installation of running water in Tobata City, Fukuoka prefecture in 1924. 9"High x 7 1/2"Wide
