| This wonderful and elaborate utensil set is in excellent condition. It has ivory chop sticks, an ivory handled knife with carved dragon panels, a ivory handled file, and ivory or bone toothpick and earpic. The case is inlaid with mother of pearl, bone and or ivory and lacquer in a gilded bronze support structure showing designs of dragons. The toggle has a very ancient coin mounted in it. There is very minor damage including 1/2" section of the file handle that has been repaired, and only small cracks in the mother of pearl. Overall length is 12 3/4" (32.5cm) It may very well be earlier then the nineteenth century. | ||
